Are you looking for a fun way to spend time with friends? Make Your Own Piece Parties are the perfect solution and allow you to support a local nonprofit organization at the same time! Simply gather your friends together and we'll supply the beads, stones, instruction and assistance. Together, we'll make beautiful jewelry!
Prices for the party vary depending on which beads, stones and clasps each guest chooses. Included in the price is a small donation that provides one of our Make Piece students with jewelry making tools for the three month intensive jewelry and entrepreneurship course.
We do not use pre-made kits and do not require guests to make a certain type of jewelry. We will bring our digital photo frame so that your guests can get ideas.

How A Typical Make Your Own Piece Party Unfolds

A group of friends gathered at the home of a Make Piece supporter. This guest brought her cute daughter along to make a necklace as well!
For most of the women, picking their beads and stones was the hardest part! One exclaimed, "There were just too many beautiful choices!"

Creativity was the name of the game at this party! This woman had grand ideas and a vast knowledge of the jewels—perhaps she should work with Make Piece! Each woman made a beautiful, unique piece (or two!).

Miss Lisa (right) is hard at work here instructing the group how to design and string the beads and stones. She is a Make Piece graduate and our Head Jewelry teacher for the new participants in our program.

Constructing the necklace: design is key in making a stand-out piece. These women had no problem—using bold colors and stones, pendants and varying lengths, their new pieces are sure to catch your eye.

This little girl knew exactly what she wanted! She combined beautiful aquamarine stones and large pearls to make a darling piece that is perfect for a four year-old!
(She was also the first one done—no funny business from her! Afterward, she went to work making us PlaySchool meals.)
Beautiful pieces, beautiful women! Here, they pose in their brand new, handcrafted pieces with their wonderful teacher, Miss Lisa.
From the left, their beads and stones used: jasper pendant, dark and light green glass; carnelian, tiger eye and seed beads; moonstone pendant, kyanite, hematite and sterling silver; aquamarine and pearl; blue riolita discs and coins, obsidian and sterling silver. Stunning pieces for creative and fun women!
