Sharman has been an occupational therapist for a number of years. She entered that profession because of her love of arts and crafts and a desire to share these joys. When her duties diverged more and more from the artistic toward the administrative, she started to look elsewhere to get in touch with her creative side.
Her long-time friend and Make Piece colleague, Lisa McFadgen comes into the story there. She'd learned about our program and spread the good news to Sharman, who promptly signed up. Sharman now says, "Jewelry making is my passion and I especially love working with crystals." |
