A mother of ten (five adopted, two step-daughters and three of her own), Pat supported her family for over 30 years by marketing Sears tools to industrial accounts. After Sears closed its industrial marketing department, Pat was unable to find steady work. She has sold personal care products, prepared income tax returns and done seasonal arts and crafts in order to make ends meet.
Make Piece has given a focus and grounding to her craft/entrepreneurial talents. She makes a number of beautiful pieces, puts her sunny personality to work at many of our marketing events and soon will be representing us to local boutiques. We intend to capitalize on her marketing expertise to help expand the market for our participants' products.
Happily for Pat, all her items have sold. But we hope she'll make more soon! |
