We call her "Miss Naomi"—returning the gentle, courteous address she uses with each of us in the tradition of her native Guyana.
Miss Naomi raised her three daughters and is now raising two young grandchildren for a daughter in need. The fellowship and craftsmanship she finds at Make Piece give her a good break from the stresses of her busy days. Miss Naomi does a lot of our production work and has developed some very lovely designs of her own, which we're proud to offer to our customers. Miss Naomi's current watchwords, which she wanted us to share here, are "every long rope have an end." |
