Liz was an active college student when a serious back ailment led to hospitalization and extended bed rest. When she was introduced to Make Piece by her mother, who met us at a holiday sale, she was still very frail, had to rest often and pace herself. However, learning how to make jewelry brought new joy to her life and gave her a reason to venture from the house when she is feeling up to it.
Liz is now studying to become a certified gemologist, practicing both within Make Piece and independently. Liz has also been designing some lovely jewelry, as you'll see when you look through her pieces. Her health has also been steadily improving and we look forward to seeing her blossom further. |
